Con (casi) todo el mundo de vacaciones, las costumbres se relajan. No dejéis de afeitaros. Vale que la barba protege del sol, pero da más calor.

Material:
Máquina: GEM Micromatic Clog Pruf.
Cuchilla: GEM Stainless (4).
Jabón: La Toja.
Brocha: Mí¼hle fibra silvertip 31K252.
Alumbre: -
Loción: Floí¯d.
Bálsamo: La Toja hidrotermal.

Técnica:
Espuma en cara con jabón en pastilla. Piel sin productos preafeitado. Tres pasadas: a favor, a través y a contrapelo. Espuma de confort. Lavado con agua frí­a. Secado sin frotar. Loción alcohólica mentolada y bálsamo hidratante.

Comentarios:
Hoy todo bien. La espuma en condiciones, que la última vez que usé La Toja me pasé con el agua. La Micromatic de peine cerrado es una estupenda maquinilla.
Bueno, a comenzar la semana perfectamente afeitado, a ver cómo se da todo.

Afeitado de fin de semana en Burgos por una boda y con esas aguas con tanta cal salio una buena espuma sin nungun problema, buen afeitado y mejor bodorrio que tuvimos, buenos dias.

Buen afeitado en tres pasadas y retoques, sin incidencias de cortes, poros o irritación.

Maquinilla: EJ DE87 Ivory + Bolzano (1er.uso)
Post: Myrsol metilsol
AS: Floí¯d vigoroso

Como pre he utilizado la emulsión Myrsol sobre la cara húmeda de la ducha. El espumado directamente en cara y como post, el Myrsol metilsol que no tiene buen olor pero con grandes propiedades astringentes.

Seguimos con el "equipo titular" salvo un cambio: Probamos ahora las Astra Azules. Las he notado que apuran más que las verdes, pero un poco más ásperas. El resultado ha sido un apurado mayor con dos pasadas a favor, pero de "regalo" un par de puntos de sangre.
No sé, creo que las cuchillas se ma van a dar como el vino: Soy incapaz de distinguir entre unas y otras.
Y todaví­a me quedan por aquí­ las derby, las feather, las bolzando, las 7 O´clock, las láser....ainssss :zzap:

What a terrible shave! I've resisted the siren song of "vintage" tallow soaps for the longest time. Last week I finally caved; I picked up a vintage puck of Yardley. It arrived on Friday, and I'd been anxiously anticipating shaving with it today. I performed my usual prep - my brush soaked during my shower, a small bit of water rested on the puck of soap. I got out of the shower and prepared to make this mythical "vintage" lather. As I touched the Manchurian badger hair brush to the puck, lather magically started appearing from the very start. The aroma of the soap, which had been faint, opened up and my anticipation built to a crescendo. As I started working the lather on my face, I began to believe the hype about vintage tallow soaps!

With a face full of thick, rich lather, I began my shave. The first few strokes were like sheer joy. Then, just as I was envisioning how I would write up my SOTD, I felt a slight burn, almost like a pin prick. I'd cut myself. I couldn't believe it. I'd gone months and months without a cut, then I get two in two weeks. And this one was perfectly placed so that it ended precisely where the one from last week began. If it had been on the same angle, it would have just been a continuation of the original cut. My concentration was destroyed! Undaunted, I was determined to keep going and not let this lather be wasted. but in my anger with myself, I let my strokes get quicker. Then, as I went to clear the two days growth off my chin, I felt a burning, and the lather turned bright red. I knew I'd done it again - a second cut! But I carried on, finishing the shave with a very nice two pass BBS. The vintage soap had done it's part, but I had failed it...

As I cleaned up, I looked at my chin. Not only had I cut myself, but I'd taken a nice chunk of skin out.

I took my SOTD pictures for several days this week over the weekend, and I'd been wondering what I would do for tomorrow's shave. Now I know the answer - I'll be grabbing some pine and sitting on the bench as this hole in my chin heals!

Afeitado del Lunes,con barba de dos dias pues hayer no me afeite continuamos con el stick La Toja, hoy con esta Chubby de F.S. espumando en la cara que es el fuerte de esta brocha.La Slant de baquelita es una maravilla, como siega y lo suave que es no se si sera por su peso o por que sera lo cierto es que es un maquinon. La cuchilla en su sesto afeitado y ultimo, esta muy bien la relacion calidad precio de esta cuchilla S.P.Estainless, muy buen afeitado mis tres pasadas de rigor a favor,a traves,a contrapelo mi espuma de confort y ducha de agua fria CDB total, los A.S. a la portuguesa me han quedado el careto fresquito,fresquito que apetece, que tengan un buen dia señores.

De vacaciones, aunque esta vez me he traido material en condiciones.
El Calani, estupendo como siempre y la Pils estaba segando de lo lindo, y me lo estaba pasando tan bien ........y no tení­a ninguna prisa .....y me dí­ una cuarta pasada totalmente innecesaria, que me ha provocado un pelí­n de irritación. Nada grave pero el after ha picado lo suyo. El resultado CDB total, pero hay que controlar el ansia viva.
