Spanish Seygus will introduce a new type of DE razor: the Zeppelin.

José Antonio and Gustavo produce the razor head only - a handle should be supplied separately.

One of the razor heads will be sent to me - I have the honour to test it, and of course promote it a bit:

The 2 sides are different - one side has a bigger blade gap.
In order to distinguish the 2 sides one of the sides is scalloped, the other is not.

As soon as "my" Zeppelin has arrived I will test it - more news later ... ;-)

Hola, muchas gracias por abrir el hilo.
Se han fabricado algunos cabezales y se han mandado a tres personas, incluido alguien del foro, para que les echen un vistazo y opinen. Tienen dos gap distintos en la misma base y el peine es diferente, también, en un lado y en el otro. Así dispones de dos eficacias de corte en el mismo artilugio.
Va pulida a espejo en otro taller, especializado en pulido, es acero 316 L y pesa como el acero, 42 gramos la cabeza completa. Vamos a buscar unas bolsitas de piel o cajitas para su comercialización y saldrán a 85€ más IVA. Caras. Es que llevan demasiado trabajo y pulirlas, al ser tiradas mínimas, pues se encarece. 
El espárrago, universal. Quedarán estupendas en un mango Ufo, Stork, o más modesto, como el Ikon.
Aunque aparecen tres cabezales, son el mismo acabado, con dos gaps en la misma base. Peine cerrado. Ya tengo ganas de estrenar este cabezal, que tras las pruebas con el primero lo hemos alegrado con más apertura. Debe apurar en solo dos pases. Esa es la idea. Y parece que lo hemos logrado. Se va a llamar Zeppelin, en honor a  su disco 4. Además que es el cuarto cabezal en el que andamos. ¿O es ya el quinto? Zeppelin mola de nombre.

Ansiosos estamos por oír qué tal va. Buena pinta no le falta.

Gustavo, el termino barato-caro pues es relativo. Precisamente por lo que comentas, de ser una tirada pequenya, con mucho trabajo manual individualizado (artesano), es imposible que salga al precio de un cabezal hecho en Pakistan disenyado hace 20 anyos y del que hacen tiradas de miles... Y eso se nota, y hay que pagarlo. Luego vendra el que si apura mas o menos, que si a unos les gustan mas agresivos y a otros menos etc...
Pero vamos, que me pillare uno. Va a lucir de puta madre en mi UFO goliath!

First shave with the Seygus Zeppelin.
The short sides of the blade do not protrude, which is very pleasant when changing the blade.
Today only the  "mild" side of the razor used - particularly comfortable with a nice smooth result.

Dice Jan Zoethout que no sobresale por los extremos la hoja (lo que es más agradable porque impide que te cortes al cerrar la cabeza y apretarla) y que el filo suave le ha dado eso un afeitado suave. Me parece que en los próximos modelos saldrá con una décima más de apertura, para evitar que haya que pasar y repasar más de la cuenta, que eso, al final, es lo que provoca irritaciones y un mal afeitado. A ver qué sucede con el otro lado, que pensamos que debe afeitar en dos pases y algún retoquillo en el lugar rebelde (cada quien tiene su lugar,señala quijada, un lateral del cuello, bajo la nariz...).
Esto suena bien.

Used the "aggressive" side of the Zeppelin today.
Just as comfortable as the "mild" side - a little bit more effective, I think (will notice tomorrow morning).
