They probably couldn't get me to understand the basics of civilization or, perhaps, I didn't understand them...
Yesterday, in the metropolis of Codogno, in the convulsive traffic, I came across a hearse: as
long as I can see them, it means that I still have to suffer...
But it's not the superstitious aspect that struck me: what left me stunned was that it was a Maserati!
The first thing I thought was that the dead man had a large and rowdy family and that he wanted to get to the cemetery quickly to enjoy some peace and quiet.
I suspect, instead, that the relatives' need to show off was such they accepted the cost for a thing that, in my view, is absolutely superfluous.
It reminded me of the lavish funerals of gangsters in the 1920s: first they'd kill a guy and then they'd give him a fancy funeral.
Our government doesn't take on the burdens of even a third-class funeral!
And its ways are much less noisy.
The Tommy gun had an incredible charm, though!
But today, waking up at an ungodly hour, I didn't really know what to use and I fell back on a efficient soap, but with a scent that perplexes me.
Oh well... I'm shaved!
