Here I am again after a blizzard of epic proportions has flooded the plains: rescue teams wander lost in search of survivors, nature has returned to the days of glaciation, services are minimal, when functioning (no difference from when the sun is shining and it's 26° C), the feeling of isolation is broken only by the footprints of wild animals roaming the fields in search of food and shelter.
You can see the footprints of buffalos, foxes, crows, Andrei (my neighbor who is neither wild nor looking for food and shelter)...
The situation is desperate!
But it's not because of the weather. It is because of an incompetent government.
What does this have to do with the weather?
